Reviewers gave Murder by the Book 4 and 5 stars and asked for another story with heroine Candy Wadsen. So guess what? #amwriting one. Dying to Get Hung is shaping up to be a longer work. With over a half-dozen suspects, the mystery keeps gets knottier. I hope that I can figure out whodunit. Here’s a peek at the cover.
Recently I had a lot of fun with this new work-in-progress on Facebook. I needed to provoke a car accident in a scene. I’m not much of a mechanic so I asked my Facebook friends to suggest scenarios. I got lots of great suggestions. I had no idea that my friends are so diabolical!

Coming Soon
Later this month, I’ll clue you in about the relaunch of a mash-up series that combines the paranormal with intrigue and espionage in a historical setting.
In late July, I’ll be facilitating a Fantasy Writing workshop. The students will be teachers pursuing professional development during their summer vacation. Usually, summer programs for teachers are focused on their teaching practices, but the organizers want to focus on their writing practices. I was tapped to teach either of the genres in which I write (Fantasy and Mystery), and I picked Fantasy. Bring on the dragons!
Last, I’ve been invited to contribute to a Fantasy Sampler anthology slated for publication late Fall. I’m working on a “low fantasy.” That’s a Fantasy story in a contemporary setting.
